The Azores are a compulsory stop for those sailing to the Caribbean. Faial Marina is the most famous in the region and its port is brightly decorated by the sailors who stop there. The town stretches along a bay on the island's south coast and boats Boasting many impressive churches, convents and majestic white houses that are reminders of the port’s colonial history during the Age of Discovery in the 15th and 16th centuries.
You can also enjoy the dormant volcanoes around the islands. Like climb the Pico volcano, Portugal's highest mountain, which reaches 2,351 metres and be ready to have one of the most amazing views.
